The spirit of 1926

Working alongside a truly magnificent team, hosted by The Macallan, Leith Agency and Filming Scotland; Pickled supported The Spirit of 1926 film as a post-production side arm, providing pre, production and post support.

Visiting the highlands of Scotland and working alongside director Mike Newell (Four Weddings & A Funeral) and his team provided an intermate film making master-class. Pickled had the pleasure of providing post production consultation, VFX and online finishing – aiding the productions transformation, back in time to 1920’s Highlands of Scotland.

The conform and VFX were performed in Autodesk’s Flame, alongside our supporting Foundry Nuke team. Working closely with Head of Production; Roisin Kelly, the concept and iterations of the creative pipeline were meticulously reviewed throughout the films evolution, with post-production playing an integral role, keeping true to the 1920’s era.
